Hi Bill, I don't know if you would remember me. I was a Freshman at IBC when you were a Senior. I think you knew my brother Mike O'Laughlin pretty well though. I opened two stores recently, Park Place Interiors. I started an Interior Design Furniture Store about 3 years ago in Geneva, IL . We just opened the Elmhurst store last year. Costs were based on annua driving of 10,000 miles per year. Hope this helps.

What was the milage asuumed in calculating the cost per mile? We're evaluating this particular issue in my Techonomics class.

Consider my comments in light of research conducted by Hewitt Associates and Towers Perrin. The 2004 Hewitt research found that increases in employee engegement clearly preceded improvements in company financial performance.

The 3-year Towers Perrin study found that companies consistently engaging their employees posted a 3.74% increase in operating profit while poorly engaged employees cost profits a 2% decline.
