More than 12,000 laptops are lost each week in US airports, according to a survey by the Ponemon Institute (Chicago Tribune, July 19, 2008), and only one-third of those lost are ever found.  Can your organization afford the security breach that comes with this loss?

Do you know how much of your company's sensitive information has found its way onto employee laptops?  This is an especially troublesome question if your employees dock their laptops when at work and use it as their only computer workstation.

What kind of access protocols and passwords are you using to secure your trade secrets and industry knowledge?  How often is this security tested?  How often are employees retrained about the significance of this threat to your organization's success?
