Escalating Costs Changing How Business Gets Done

Average airfare has gone from $474 a year ago to over $550 today (BusinessWeek, June 2, 2008).  And with the economy trying to decide its course, many organizations are cutting one of their largest costs--travel.  Some companies have cut it by as much as 50%.

So how can you stay in front of your customers and prospects?

Look to the new tools provided by the internet.  Such web tools as video conferencing and Webinars are seeing a surge of growth, while internal collaboration increases by using company intranets.  While initial investments may seem daunting, having the ability to meet with people face-to-face through video streaming may pay bigger dividends over not traveling and conversing by phone.

Tough times always require looking at new ways to do business.  Are you looking?
